Located in the heart of the city, this hotel offers easy access to the nearby shopping areas and highways. the spacious rooms, equipped with strong Wi-Fi and sauna facilities, provide a comfortable stay. the breakfast served in the morning is delightful, which includes a wide range of options.
The restaurant and bar facilities could have been better, limited operational hours and vending machines may not be sufficient for a high-end hotel.

Service was excellent. Staff was polite and ready to help with any questions re hotel services and outside activities. During our stay the conditioning system partly was under reconstruction, but staff without any questions gave us rooms with working conditioning and windows to the shadow side. Kids corner is well equiped. Kids menu (morning and evening free kids menu).

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious hotel in the heart of the city center. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The room was well-appointed and had all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable sitting area and a lovely terrace where I could relax and enjoy the view. The in-room safe was a nice touch, providing added security for my belongings. Additionally, the hotel's spa and wellness center offered a tranquil oasis where I could unwind with a sauna and a soothing massage.
This hotel is highly recommended for families.

The only thing that we liked in Sokos Vaakuna was their friendly staff at the reception. The other was really awful!
The conditioning system was out of order !!it was extremely hot!. We opened the window but they were doing their reconstruction work for the whole night. We couldn't sleep,it was very noisy and hot. The floor in the bathroom is always covered with water if you take a shower. They did not arrange free morning sauna(announced on the website).During breakfast time there were lots of dirty plates on the tables and no one cared about it. I could hardly find one waitress to ask for cleaning a table. She said it was beyond her duties (but did it finally). The floor under the beds was dusty. In common that was disgusting and it was not worth 110 eu per night!!! Great disappointment! Being declared as **** hotel, they must be ashamed in my opinion!

Very friendly staff, comfortable clean rooms,
Long walk from Railway Station, this should be made clear on website, also I would not have stayed if it had been advised that the airconditioning was not installed yet!

The hotel had a decent location, was relatively clean and had a good breakfast. the beds were also comfortable and the pillows were soft.
The staff were unhelpful and lacked customer service skills. We asked for recommendations for local restaurants and were dismissed with a "I don't know" response.

The breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. They even had some local specialties like smoked ham which was really good. The location was very convenient as it was close to the city center. Also, the bed was comfortable and large.
The hotel was very crowded during Easter and we had to wait in long lines for breakfast and check-in. The staff was also overwhelmed with the number of guests and were not as friendly or attentive as we would have liked. The room was small and outdated with poor noise insulation which made it hard to sleep at night. our experience was not very enjoyable.
